Welcome to Queen Camel Community Land Trust
Queen Camel is a rural community nestling in the rolling hills of South Somerset, being just 7 miles north of the towns of Yeovil and Sherborne and half a mile south of the A303 trunk road.
Queen Camel Community Land Trust Limited was formed in December 2011 with the initial primary aim of promoting Affordable Housing within the village for those who qualified for Affordable Housing and had a defined Local Connection.
Long term, we hope to be able to promote other enhancements to the village, its facilities and infrastructure.

What is a Community Land Trust?
Community Land Trusts are powerful examples of communities helping themselves. They are non-profit, community-based organizations run by volunteers that develop housing, workspaces, community facilities or other assets that meet the needs of the community and are made available at permanently affordable levels.
